I support making the khanda an emoji, but it doesn't need a new code point. U+262C is already a khanda (and already displays as an emoji on Samsung phones), and a variant selector could be used to specify the emoji form on systems that had both that and the dingbat form. That way, it would display as a dingbat rather than a tofu character on existing platform versions.
