2. Meeting logistics:

2.1 On-site attendance

The meeting will be held in the Spruce room of Building 7, 15675 NE 36th St, REDMOND, WA 98052, on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, WA. Building 7 is located located at the southeast corner of 156th Avenue NE and NE 36th Street. If you take the footbridge across 156th Avenue NE from the west side of the road, Building 7 will be the first building on the left. The lobby entrance is at the east corner of the building—see the circled "7" in the following image:

Teams meeting: When joining the Teams meeting (see below), select “Don’t use audio”.

Parking: There is a large underground parking complex under Building 7 and adjacent buildings. Entrances to the garage are located on 156th Avenue NE at the first traffic light south of NE 36th Street, or on NE 36th Street just east of Building 7. Inside the garage, visitor spots will be marked. It is a large complex, so look for signs to park near Building 7. There are stairs and elevators to get to the surface. Vehicles need to be registered at the lobby — the receptionist will ask for plate number, make, model, color, and year of the vehicle.

Public transit: Building 7 is conveniently located close to the Redmond Technology Station on the Sound Transit #2 Light Rail line that goes between South Bellevue and downtown Redmond. You can cross 156th Avenue NE at surface level or take the elevated footbridge that ends next too Building 7.

Note that the light rail line does not yet connect to Seattle or SeaTac airport. If travelling from SeaTac Airport, Sound Transit bus route 560 connects to downtown Bellevue, where you can transfer to the light rail.

There are also several Sound Transit or King County Metro bus routes between the Microsoft campus and downtown Seattle.

Hotels: see below for some hotel options.
