2. Meeting logistics:
To provide the best hybrid meeting experience, all participants should join the virtual meeting in Zoom, including those attending in person.
2.1 On-site attendance
The meeting will be held in room 3401 Dwinelle Hall at UC Berkeley. Dwinelle Hall is accessible via the south and west entrances to the campus.
Dwinelle Hall is notoriously tricky to navigate. The most direct entrance to reach room 3401 is via the lower east entrance, on the east side of the building. See the figures below for details. After entering, walk down the hallway to your right.
If you are entering via a different entrance, use the Dwinelle Navigator to find your way.
All exterior doors to the building are open to the public during business hours.
Parking & public transit: There are several public parking options within walking distance of Dwinelle Hall:
- Telegraph Channing Parking Garage located at 2450 Durant Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704 is two blocks south of Dwinelle Hall, about 0.4 miles / 8 minute walk. Daily rates range from $9-$16.
- Oxford Parking Garage located at 2165 Kittredge St, Berkeley, CA 94704 is a few blocks west of Dwinelle Hall, about 0.5 miles / 10 minute walk. Daily rate is $22.
- Center St Parking Garage located at 2025 Center St, Berkeley, CA 94704 is a few blocks west of Dwinelle Hall, about 0.6 miles / 12 minute walk. Daily rates range from $15-$25.
The Downtown Berkeley BART station is a few blocks west of Dwinelle Hall, about 0.5 miles / 10 minute walk.
Convenient car drop-off points are Frank Schlessinger Way or Telegraph and Bancroft.

People planning to join the meeting should notify the chair or hosts in advance (see contact information below). You must set your Zoom profile to show your full name. Then click the “Ask to join” or “Join now” button, after which you will enter a Zoom lobby to be admitted by a meeting host.
