Anshu Pandey will provide another document to make a case for unification, e.g., what is the minimal additional set of Maithili specific characters for Bengali, and how is the rendering model different? [108-C22] Consensus: Close the PRI #83, leaving Cyrillic Omega with Titlo unchanged. The assessment of the UTC is that changing the glyph to be the glyph for "beautiful omega" is inappropriate, and any such character should be encoded separately.

[108-A68] Action Item for Rick McGowan: Close the PRI #83 with above consensus 108-C22.

[108-A69] Action Item for Debbie Anderson: Contact Cyrillicists and make a new proposal for "beautiful omega". See documents L2/06-274, L2/06-011, L2/06-292, L2/06-033.
