Tim Bray - Antarcti.ca

Tim Bray, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Antarcti.ca™, has 20 years of experience in the software industry, and is widely recognized as an expert in Web architecture, information retrieval, and software optimization. In 1987 he became manager of the New Oxford English Dictionary Project at the University of Waterloo. In 1989 he co-founded the Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ:OTEX) where in 1994 he introduced what would become one of the first commercial web Search Engines. In 1996, he joined the World Wide Web Consortium's XML Working Group, serving as co-editor of the Extensible Markup Language (XML 1.0) specification.
