Software Development + the Internet:
Going Global with Unicode

The Ninth International Unicode Conference which took place on September 4-6 in San Jose, California brought together industry-wide experts on the global Internet and Unicode, internationalization and localization, implementation of Unicode in operating systems and applications, fonts, text layout, and multilingual computing. This was the very first three-day Unicode Conference, providing a full day of tutorials/workshops, followed by two days of presentations. The Testimonials page shows some of the feedback received since the Conference. Did you miss important talks due to clashes between tracks? Did you miss the Conference completely? You'll have another opportunity at the Tenth International Unicode Conference in March 1997. See you there!
