The W3C has issued to its members a call for participation in two new
groups: an I18N Working Group and an I18N Interest Group. If you are
employed by a W3C member organisation, please encourage your employer to put
forward representatives to these two important groups. The briefing package
is in the members-only area of the W3C Web site [1]. Once formed, the
groups may decide to invite the participation of selected experts not
employed by W3C member organisations.

If you are unsure whether your employer is a W3C member, check the list of
members, which is in a public portion of the W3C Web site [2].
