I am interested in any answers concerning your above question too!
That's why I kept silent for a while - but who's to answer I wonder.
I did an "utf8site" at: "http://titus.uni-frankfurt.de/unicode/"
displaying the whole range of Unicode Standard 2.0 plus "Unassigned".
And I turned my homepage: "http://www.SinoIndoRoman.com" to "UTF-8"
using the above "utf8site" for "Copy & Paste" yeah! procedure...
With Mac OS 8.0 and Mac Runtime for Java 2.0 and Apple Language Kit(s)
installed, you can visit my pages to see what your Language Kit(s)
installed are able to display - NetScape 4 or Explorer 4 will do for
the languages covered. Cyberdog 2.0 works too - with UTF-8 and UTF-7
options for outgoing Mail and News. But remember you don't see UTF-8
on Macintosh platform! It's the Language Kit(s) you see - using the
Text Encoding Machine coming with Mac OS 8, currently "TEC 1.3.1"
My "utf8site" is like "wall meditating" -
it just mirrors, what's already there!
