Unicode selections for X11 (cont'd)

I've put the current writeup of the not-yet-really-proposed protocol
for interchange of Unicode text under X11 on the web.

Many thanks to all the people who e-mailed me with suggestions and
corrections. I believe that the terminology is now fully UC
(Unicodely Correct), and that the contentious issues have either been
eliminated or more fully justified. Many an interesting discussion
did I have, aye.

I've got a question about the C0 and C1 control character ranges. I
call them `legacy control characters'. Do people object to this
terminology? Does anyone have a better name?

A note about COMPOUND_TEXT: some people seemed to believe that two
much space is devoted to it. This is absolutely essential, as the
proposal only holds a chance of being adopted if it is made perfectly
clear that interoperation between locale-based applications and
Unicode-based applications is not only possible but also not too
difficult to achieve.

Thanks again,

                                        J. Chroboczek
