I have not seen the Admas font, but Unicode 3.0 is no longer a proposal,
and I suspect that the Admas font is an early implementation that didn't
keep up with the standardization process. See

amendment which added Ethiopic to ISO/IEC 10646, and
http://www.indigo.ie/egt/standards/iso10646/pdf/ethiopic-extensions.pdf for
a proposal to extend the set.
