Hi,
Only two people asked me what else exists
in the complete Hebrew character set, but
maybe others care.
The significant points here are that there are
other pointing systems to be combined with base
letters and that there are manuscripts that have
TWO pointing systems marked on EACH consonant,
sometimes two Hebrew ones, sometimes a Hebrew one
AND an Arabic one. And sometimes, in exotic Karaite
manuscripts, there are Arabic letters with Tiberian
pointing--there are some of these in England,
Cambridge U, I think--Elaine
