Hello everyone,
Good news, the people working on the project have decided to go with a
strategy which adheres to usual Unicode practice. There will be no letters
in the PUA.
They have given up on the backspacing idea and realised that just because
/kw/ is one sound, it doesn't mean that it needs to be one spacing
character.
I would like to thank the members of this list for their input and ideas,
as some of your suggestions helped in my argument against using the PUA in
this manner. The team working on the language were very supportive of the
change of direction, and enthusiastic about keeping the language with the
rest of the world's.
