    Difficut task I would imagine. At least two complications:

    You have to sort by script x language. For example, Latin script for
    English language is probably considered "simple", whereas Latin script for
    some other langage that requires diacritic positioning, etc., would be
    considered complex.

    You need to specify what level of legibility is targeted. Taking Latin
    again, for English: no ligatures or swashes are required for nominal
    legibility, but such are desired for fine typography, in which case even
    Latin for English is complex.
