    Heh, it's not often that I get a chance to just write code for fun anymore,
    so it was a nice break :)

    By the way, if anyone downloads the code, the algorithm I used is pretty
    ugly as I was just making it up as I went along (and found more and more
    "special" cases). I could probably do a better job of it now that I know
    what some of the special cases are, but I never really got around to it...

    Dean.

    You can also look at

    http://blogs.msdn.com/michkap/archive/2005/02/01/364376.aspx

    It has Jenny's Manhattan phone number, Ethiopic style.

    I think I guilted Dean into writing that code, originally. Sorry about thay,

    Dean. :-)

    I wrote a little app which converts between Ethiopic and arabic-indic (aka
    0-9) numbers just for the fun of it a while ago. You can check it out here:

    Do Ethiopian telephones really use ethiopic numbers, though?

    I need to support telephone numbers (0-9) in an multilingual application.
    I would like to know if I miss some numbers, if in the Ethiopic case I can
    assume that the first 10 values are 0-9

    1369..137C ; Ethiopic # No [20] ETHIOPIC DIGIT ONE..ETHIOPIC NUMBER
    TEN THOUSAND

    10 = U+1372 = ?
    20 = U+1373 = ?
    2200 = ???
    7,654,321 = ??????????
