The CLDR Technical Committee has posted a new issue for public review and
comment. Details are on the following web page:

            http://www.unicode.org/review/

Review periods for the new items close on November 7, 2005.

Please see the page for links to discussion and relevant documents.
    Briefly, the new issue is:

    78 CLDR 1.3 Design Phase (close 2005-11-07)

The design phase for CLDR 1.3 has made a number of structural additions to
LDML, including flexible date/time formatting; tailorable text
segmentation (e.g. word/line breaks), rule-based number formats, and
transforms (transliterations); additional LDML metadata; localized names of
measurement systems; and localized calendar quarters. See the latest
    working draft at http://www.unicode.org/draft/reports/tr35/tr35.html.
Feedback on these additions is welcome. Note: it should not be provided
via the online Unicode forms; instead, use the CLDR bug reporting:
    http://www.unicode.org/cldr/filing_bug_reports.html.

If you have comments for official CLDR-TC consideration, please post them
by submitting your comments through the CLDR bug reporting page.
