James isn't wrong. I get the same behaviour with IE6. If you copy the
provided link (or right-click and copy the shortcut) and paste it into
a new browser window you do indeed go to the expected page (missing
"wiki") and get redirected to the real page (with "wiki"); but if you
click directly on the link in your message you get sent to
<http://fr.wikipedia.org/Table_des_caractères_Unicode> (interpretting
%C3 and %A8 as à and ¨), which then redirects you to
<http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_des_caract%C3%83%C2%A8res_Unicode>
(translating à and ¨ to UTF-8 as %C3%83 and %C2%A8). No doubt someone
more knowledgable in the ways of IE can explain this behaviour.
