It's too small for me to tell what the font is. What's happening is that the first letter
of the conjunct is displaying with an explicit halant instead of a half form or as part of
a conjunct ligature. This is one of those renderings that is decipherable but really not
desirable. I would consider a font that displayed the text in this way to be buggy.
