Well seen ! There's a bug somewhere in the encoding model.

Why wouldn't the proposed COMBINING PARENTHESIS ABOVE be simply
represented as the COMBINING ENCLOSING PARENTHESIS, and then the
custom vertical stacks encoded using the control format or diacritic I
just proposed ?
