Subject: Questions@Unicode?

Dear Unicode staff:

I am searching for how questions are identified - or signaled - in the
syntax of the world's major writing systems.

I am developing a set of cartoon characters that must "look generic
enough" to
infer, or communicate metaphorically, into the 6 question words - and
carry these question-concepts into as many written language groups as
possible.

What is the closest glyph or character [or icon?] that Unicode has
developed to indicate a question? Is there anything like a
multi-lingual question mark?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Victor Hall
