MHT files (web archives) are mostly RFC822 MIME encapsulation
(like in compound Emails with attachments) of multiple
related files, one of which is a main HTML file using the
    others with relative references.

An MHT file can then contain full file attachments, so it
is not a solution for his problem (the MHT file works as if
it was a base URL for a web site, or a ZIP archive, and so
it exposes its individual file components which can be easily
    extracted).

The way fonts are embedded in MHT files are exactly the same
    as for web sites.
