    There was apparently an attempt to go metric (A4, A3 paper sizes and
    such things) by some Canadian governments (I know the Québec government
    tried) but, due to the scarcity of suppliers in a market overwhelmingly
    geared to the US, if I recall properly, this decision was quickly found
    too unpractical and abandonned.
