    CAVEATs:

            It is not an attack on Unicode, just an alternative (complementary) design

            Some of it is clearly outside the scope of Unicode, but some of it
    might be Unicode compatible

            It is unfinished; there's lots of stuff to go in the intro; for
    example. But what is there is ok and has been proofread.

            It is focused on Arabic; if you have an interest in Arabic you will
    probably find some useful info about how it works

            It is under a Creative Commons license; collaborators welcome (the XML
    source is there as well as a PDF file)

            It has the perfect epigraph

    It contains a mapping to latin-1 that works quite well as a
    transliteration system. See table 4.4, "arabic-1".
