    As you can see from the dates on those docs, they were submitted quite some time ago, and the proposer has rarely if at all been heard from since. (I'm not sure of the date of the last correspondence.) Also, the docs indicate that the proposals are incomplete, though no indication is given of what steps for further progress are planned.

    As John Hudson had volunteered to provide type for those proposals and *is* a regular correspondant here, he's probably in the best position to comment on what progress has been happening in the background, if any.
