Location

The Mainz Hilton is located on the banks of the River Rhine, at the entrance to the city's historic quarter. The hotel is just minutes from the business, cultural and shopping centres and is directly linked to the Rheingoldhalle Convention Hall; in addition, it is only 5 minutes from the central railway station, 20 minutes from Frankfurt International Airport and 30 minutes from the city of Frankfurt.

Local Attractions

Rhine River boat trips begin in front of the hotel for romantic cruises to imposing medieval castles. Mainz is the German wine capital, boasting numerous wine cellars, while the city also offers a variety of cultural attractions, such as the prominent Johannes Gutenberg and other museums, theatre and opera houses. Among the many historic sites are the Gothic cathedral and Stephanskirche, with its world-famous Chagall windows. Mainz is also an ideal starting point for exploring the picturesque villages of the Rheingau region, the wine route and Heidelberg.
