Charles Bigelow is Vice President of Bigelow & Holmes Inc., He was a professor of digital typography in the departments of Computer Science and Art at Stanford University from 1982 - 1997. He has served on the editorial boards of journals including Electronic Publishing, Fine Print, and is a past president of the committee on research and education in letterforms or the Association Typographique Internationale. He is a former MacArthur Foundation Prize Fellow, and a recipient of the Frederic W. Goudy Award in Typography.
