Twenty-sixth Internationalization and Unicode Conference (IUC26) Unicode and Internationalization: Best Practices in the Networked World AND Transdex.

SPONSORSHIPS

Global Meeting Services, The Unicode Consortium, and the Transdex associations (ACCTI, CSN, GALA, and TILP) invite you to show your support in sponsoring our first co-located event.

The 26th Internationalization & Unicode Conference (IUC26) co-located with Transdex, will be held September 7-10, 2004, in San Jose, CA. IUC26 is the premier technical conference worldwide for both software and Web internationalization.

This event promises to be an exciting opportunity for sponsors to be able to promote themselves to a wide variety of participants, from the technical to the business communities, as well as representatives of the localization, globalization, and internationalization sectors, coming together to share information.

Each IUC conference covers a wide range of Unicode and internationalization topics, while exploring certain topics in greater depth. The theme for IUC26 is "Unicode and Internationalization: Best Practices in the Networked World".

Transdex will provide information and presentations on a wide range of GILT industry topics. With presentations, classes, and plenary sessions from leading industry organizations such as ACCTI, CSN, GALA, and TILP. This event is the perfect opportunity to cross-train your internationalization and localization staff and managers.

IUC26 and Transdex is the first industry event to bring all of these great organizations and their constituencies under one roof. And with a limited number of booth spaces and sponsorships available, you don’Äôt want to miss the opportunity to participate in either one or both of these capacities.

We anticipate more than 350 participants at this event. Sponsors will be recognized and receive benefits of their contributions as described in the categories below.

GOLD: $10,000 - sponsor

a. This might be a contribution towards the special event dinner. Sponsor will be noted on all our Web pages by logo and linked to their site. Sponsor will be allowed to have a 5 minute presentation and welcome folks at the dinner. Signage. May invite 2 guests to the dinner.

b. Exhibit Booth - value of $2,500.

c. 2 conference registrations to part of event of choice.

d. May produce advertising material and/or gift for participants to be placed on sponsors only table close to registration desk for voluntary pick-up by registrants.

SILVER: $7,500 - sponsor

a. This might be a contribution towards a luncheon. Sponsor will be noted on all our Web pages by logo and linked to their site. Sponsor will be allowed to make a 5 minute presentation and welcome folks at the luncheon. Signage.

b. Exhibit Booth - value of $2,500.

c. 1 conference registration to part of event of choice.

d. May produce advertising material and/or gift for participants to be placed on sponsors only table close to registration desk for voluntary pick-up by registrants.

BRONZE: $3,000 - sponsor

a. This might be a contribution towards a breakfast or refreshment break. Sponsor will be noted on all our Web pages by logo and linked to their site. Signage.

b. 1 conference registration to part of event of choice.

c. May produce advertising material and/or gift for participants to be placed on sponsors only table close to registration desk for voluntary pick-up by registrants.

GENERAL SPONSORSHIPS

Each sponsor will contribute a gift of sorts for each participant, to be handed out at the end of each day in return for evaluation forms, or may contribute software for a daily drawing, or provide a service to the conference. Sponsor will be noted on all our Web pages by logo and linked to their site. Signage.

There will be no additional costs to sponsor other than the item they contribute, to be shipped to site at their expense.

These items will not be pre-packaged into the conference bags. There will be no bias at this event. These sponsors will have the ability to show their wares at their exhibit booths, or display them at a conference sponsor only table that will be set up for their benefit.

Some items to consider:

a. Conference bags. Company may add their logo to this item.

b. Conference CD's. Company will produce separate CD's for: Unicode pre- conference tutorials and workshops, Unicode conference sessions, Transdex presentations.

c. Novelties,e.g. Pens, mugs, water bottles, key chains and the like.

d. T-shirts.

e. Company software. About 6 or more sets of software from your Company to raffle in a daily drawing. Software will be displayed on the registration desk.
