Why are you asking me? Michel Suignard is editor of 10646-2. I didn't make
up the acronyms. Well, wait, actually, I did help edit them in Fukuoka; I
remember "insisting" on SMP because BMP/SMP was rather nice. Anyway those
are only the Plane acronyms. If you're using BMP in French, you shouldn't
translate the other three plane acronyms. As far as JUC, I know I have seen
this in some places.
