    I find that IE7 displays the Phoenician in that page if I change the CSS
    to explicitly specify a font containing Phoenician (e.g. MPH 2B Damase),
    but left-to-right. The same goes for Opera 9.00.

    Firefox 2 displays the Phoenician without modification, and right-to-left.
