The Unicode Technical Committee has posted a new issue for public review
and comment. Details are on the following web page:

            http://www.unicode.org/review/

Review period for the new item closes on October 27, 2008.

Please see the page for links to discussion and relevant documents.
    Briefly, the new issue is:

#127 Proposed Update UAX #44: Unicode Character Database
    http://www.unicode.org/reports/tr44/tr44-3.html

This update is an extensive rewrite of UAX #44 in order to incorporate all
of the former content of UCD.html into the annex and consolidate all of
    the documentation in one place.

The material from UCD.html has been reorganized, so that the documentation
is clearer and flows better. Substantial new content documenting various
aspects of character properties and the UCD has been added as well.

Please review the text carefully for correctness.

If you have comments for official UTC consideration, please post them by
submitting your comments through our feedback & reporting page:
