Reporting Errors and
Requesting Information on-line
To report errors in the standard or to contact the
Unicode office with general inquiries about the Unicode Consortium or
its publications, please fill in the following form and press the
Submit button. Be sure to select the correct type for your message
from the pulldown list. Your query will be forwarded to our office.
Some of the types of situations for which use of this form would be
appropriate include:
- To report errors in Unicode publications, including errors in the
accompanying data files. (Before reporting errors, please refer to the
posted list of known errata.)
- To report problems with the website or to provide general feedback
regarding improvement of the website.
- To submit comments regarding Public Review
Issues or encoding proposals for consideration by
the UTC.
- To submit FAQ question/answer pairs for consideration by the editorial
committee for possible addition to the FAQ pages.
- To contact the office staff about submission of
technical notes or
about submission of other documents for UTC consideration.
- To contact the office staff regarding any membership issues, licensing
issues, or purchase of publications.
If you have general technical questions or wish to make comments about
implementation issues, please instead use the
Unicode
Public E-Mail List.
When reporting errors or omissions, please be as clear and precise
as possible about the problem. If you are reporting an error in the
standard or technical report, please provide exact version numbers and
relevant URLs if possible.
