    The Unicode Technical Committee has posted a new issue for public review
    and comment. Details are on the following web page:

    Review periods for the new items close on October 25, 2010.

    PRI #174 Proposed Draft UTR #49, "Unicode Character Categories"

    This proposed draft UTR presents an approach to the categorization of
    Unicode characters, and documents a data file that implementers can use
    for defining Unicode character categories.
