Statement of Purpose:
This paper will describe in detailed technical terms Perl's Unicode and locale support.
The Perl scripting language has matured considerably in the past 12 months with respect to Unicode and locale support. James will describe the implementation philosophy behind these features, examples, current limitations, and future improvements.
