I work with many rare Chinese graphs and am looking for font-design
software for Macintosh OS X that will enable me to control the forms of
some of the obscure characters that are already encoded in Unicode v. 4.
I have tried AsiaFont Studio 4 and FontLab, but they are not compatible
with version 4 of the Unicode Standard and hence are not suitable for my
purposes.
Can anyone recommend suitable software for the current Mac OS, or (failing
that) UNIX software that will run under Darwin? My aim is to prepare
better fonts for my own use in ordinary word processors and databases
running under Mac OS X.
Thanks for your help.
